Scholarships & Fellowships

The Graduate College offers a variety of scholarships and fellowships for new, continuing, and prospective students at Texas State University.

Awards

Every year, The Graduate College honors students and faculty with the Outstanding Master's Thesis Award, Outstanding Dissertation Award, and Outstanding Mentor Award.

External Funding

 

External funding refers to financial assistance for your graduate studies from sources outside Texas State University. These awards can be dispersed as fellowships, scholarships, internships, grants, and prizes.

Graduate Assistantships

Graduate and doctoral students may be employed as teaching assistants, instructional assistants, research assistants, or graduate assistants.

Graduate Student Travel Funds

The Graduate College provides funds to support student participation in conferences in Texas, the United States and beyond.

Tuition Support

Tuition support may be available for Texas State University full-time faculty and staff employees.
